Bob Bridgman began a career of long distance running in 1976 and brought to the sport the integrity that he took every where else he went. He made many friends on the local racing circuit, where he competed almost every weekend for 25 years. He loved both the sport and the people who participated in it so much, that he would often tell people that he lived life from one Saturday to the next. This race is held in remembrance of Bob.
